Unless otherwise noted in the products listed below, all Audix products purchased in the USA feature a one-year limited warranty.
All Audix products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free of defects in materials and workmanship from date of purchase as follows:
5 years for VLM Dynamic microphones
If a product fails within the warranty period due to materials or workmanship, Audix will repair or replace said product at Audix discretion, at no charge with proof of purchase from an authorized Audix dealer. Audix does not pay or reimburse shipping costs for warranty repairs or returns. The warranty excludes any causes other than manufacturing defects, such as normal wear, abuse, environmental damage, shipping damage, or failure to use or maintain the product per the supplied instructions.
No Implied Warranties: All implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are hereby excluded. The liability of Audix, if any, for damages relating to allegedly defective products shall be limited to the actual price paid by Dealer for such products and shall in no event include incidental or consequential damages of any kind.
OTHER THAN THIS WARRANTY, AUDIX MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS, THE USE OF THE PRODUCTS, THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCTS.
AUDIX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR SIMILAR DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR BASED ON THESALE, USE, STORAGE OR DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCTS, AUDIXÕS SERVICE WORK, BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF AUDIX HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
GOVERNING LAW: This agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Oregon. Venue for any action or proceeding shall exclusively be in Multnomah County, Oregon, U.S.A.

The D6X is a dynamic instrument microphone that builds on the historic legacy of the D6 microphone, our highly praised design for stage, studio, and broadcast applications.
Lightweight, compact, and easy to position, the D6X cardioid microphone is an excellent choice for miking instruments requiring extended low frequency reproduction such as kick drums, large toms, and bass cabinets.
D6X introduces an easy to operate switch that unlocks three different sound profiles:
The bottom position (Deep) retains 100% of the classic D6 sonic performance: that's the familiar starting point for a deep, cut-through-the-mix sound.
The center position (Balanced) delivers a more balanced version of the D6 sound, providing more mids and upper mids thus lending itself to slightly more traditional kick sounds without losing the overall D6 sonic impact.
The top position (Natural) changes the mic response towards a more linear behaviour, bringing even more midrange and slightly changing the hi-end roll-off. This position lends itself to micking different sound sources like percussions, guitar cabs and a wide variety of instruments.
All off this is made possible by our proprietary dynamic VLM (Very Low Mass) capsule technology combined with durable and compact construction and a transformerless, low impedance design for interference-free performance.
